Please note: these are free to download and I offer them with permission from the author, who has not updated any of them since 2013 and will not be offering any further updates. *Lansdown, Walk West 3, Walk No.25  – this walk is not possible to complete, at the time of writing, as the ‘gap in the hedge’ has been fenced off and the right of way across Freezing Hill has been obstructed – I’ve reported this to BaNES Council [October 2017].

*Bridgwater Bay, Walk West Again, Walk No. 28 – this route may now be do-able but the path network may have changed. This is something I’ve yet to investigate [November 2017].

*Backwell and Brockley, Walk West Again, Walk No. 14 – Thanks to Phil for sharing this one. Basically, the legal right of way has been diverted since the the Walk West Again was last updated. This walk remains possible to complete.

‘At point D on the walk the author says the bridleway opposite is impassable and obstructed but we found there was a new kissing gate and you can follow a vague path (highlighted in the screenshot) up the hill quite easily, (NB footpath, not bridleway) turning right at the first bridleway T-junction and left at the second, the bridleway then contours along the side of the combe.  Some bridleway diversion signs help you reach the road junction at Pots Hole.  This avoids 500m walking along the busy A370 which has got to be good.
