Vaude Lierne Full-Zip Waterproof Trousers

Several weeks ago, I ordered two pairs of waterproof trousers, in the hope of finding the right size in a style that I felt would be appealing to me. This mode, the Vaude Lierne Full-Zip ‘Pants’, was not available to try on in-store and so, I had to take the plunge and order online.

I ended up returning both pairs and I’ll explain why further down. In this post, I’d like to share some of the features of these waterproof trousers as there is limited information available online and product reviews were scarce, as far as I could see.

A Priddy Good Walk – June 2018

Sunday 17th June 2018

Priddy is an area of the Mendip Hills that I know quite well. I’ll often refer to it as one of my favourite sections and visit it in preference to some of the more frequently-populated areas, like Black Down.

This was a group walk that I decided to attend, having not been out with other members for several weeks and knowing that it was likely to be a good experience, whichever routes we would follow.

A Summary: Five Days in North Wales (July 2018)

Between Friday the 13th and Wednesday the 18th of July, I was in North Wales (an hour’s drive east of Snowdon) with three friends. If you follow me across social media, you may have already seen some of the photos from our adventures. With mountains on our mind, we had ambitious plans for our time.
