My latest walk along the Severn Way long-distance path had led me as far as Upper Framilode in Gloucestershire. From here, I’d been looking to make a return to my car, following a couple of canal paths.
My latest walk along the Severn Way long-distance path had led me as far as Upper Framilode in Gloucestershire. From here, I’d been looking to make a return to my car, following a couple of canal paths.
As I look through the photos from this walk, I suddenly remember how dismal the majority of our Easter weekend was, this year. Untrue to form.
One day prior to this, I’d enjoyed a long-awaited return to Cranborne Chase for the day, where the weather had help up rather well, by comparison. This time, waterproofs were going to be essential.
Because I’m still struggling with broadband and/or computer issues that hindering the frequency of which I am able to upload blog posts, I’ve decided to produce a ‘weekend review’ of the early May Bank Holiday break that is now (sadly) behind us.
I’ve had a great weekend and have clocked in more than thirty miles in less than three days!
It’s taken me a few days to get around to writing this. Partly because I’ve been very busy most evenings; partly because I am still suffering with poor broadband upload speeds.
April came and soon passed. We’re suddenly in to May and it’s almost as if summer is moments away.
