Ease Gill, Crag Hill and Gragareth

15/09/2020: My second walk from a week in the Yorkshire Dales. Crossing the border in to Lancashire, for a 13 mile walk around Crag Hill, Great Coum and Gragareth.

This would be my second walk in the Yorkshire Dales. Although it would first involve a twenty-minute car journey away from Ingleton and in to… Lancashire! However, I was still within the boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

To Bala and Back

Saturday 4th May 2019

A lot of time has passed since my most recent trip to Snowdonia. Or, to look at it another way; it was only two months ago and the average daily temperatures have risen by nearly 200%!

It was another weekend away with Brunel Walking Group, to make the most of the early May Bank Holiday Weekend. Most of us pitched up in mid/north Wales on the Friday night. Saturday was the first day in which group walks were available.

Snow in Wrington (02/02/2019)

Saturday 2nd February 2019

It was officially the weekend and the second day of my extended break from work. Many people had been out the previous day to sample the fresh and falling snow.

Again, I hesitated over whether not to go out again, as I’d seen enough snow and was planning to walk the next day… As cabin fever began to set in, I found myself climbing those hills from home again.
